Railway Children Africa is a newly registered INGO in Tanzania and is a subsidiary of Railway Children, a UK based development agency delivering support programmes for children alone and at risk on the streets in the UK, India and in East Africa.

Railway Children Africa was registered in Tanzania in July 2010 as a subsidiary of Railway Children. Following an extensive international review process, Railway Children identified East Africa as an area of significant need in relation to issues around children on the streets and has committed to developing our work in the region. Railway Children Africa will deliver that programme and has now developed a 3 year strategy for our work in the region from 2011 to 2014
